How much does a design cost?
The price of a design is determined based on the complexity of the project. This is why it is necessary for the designer to meet with the client. The first meeting is used to discuss the elements that will be included in the plan and to determine what the style of the design will be.

How long does it take to get a Livable Landscape design?
Depending on the workload of the designer, a design can be done in a week if necessary. Typically a design takes longer as the client usually likes to think it over once they get the preliminary design. If a client is in a hurry due to unforeseen issues, exceptions can be made and the process can be rushed.

What if I do not know my "style" and I really don't know what I want?
This is a common problem. Clients typically know what they want when they "see" it. The designer can ask questions that lead the client to identify their unique style. It is very helpful to look through magazines or search the web for landscape designs that catch their eye and show them to the designer for more discussion.

What if I change my mind midway through the design process?
The designer works closely with the client to determine the final version of the design. When the contract is signed the key elements to be included in the design are spelled out on the contract. If a client adds a feature such as a hot tub or waterfall, the design can be changed at the midpoint and the fee will be adjusted to compensate for the change. If at the end of the design process this change is requested, the designer can make suggestions and mark up the final design but at this point the design is not redrawn.

What if everyone loves my property and wants a Livable Landscape Design?
